Hello, and welcome to Fiction Friday where I share some of my writing. This week’s post is a response to Kat Myrman’s Twittering Tales 140 character tell-alls prompt, where she provides a prompt photo and our mission is to tell a story based on that prompt in 140 characters or less.
I stroked his neck, his fur and purring calming me, centering me. Our eyes met, a silent understanding between us. My bubby, his human.
I schmashed my salmon chunks and gravy, then gorged myself on ice cold water so badly some of them chunks came back up. Then I passed TF out leaving my hurl for my humans to tend to.
We send our intentions out into the Universe to create a mobile tiny house creative caravan. Peace, love, and harmony to all human life. Conceptual art to follow. Stay tuned!
One of Baltimore’s own rappers Lor Scoota was shot and killed this past Friday at an intersection after he left a charity basketball event at Morgan State University. People die so often around us that it has desensitized us, numbed us to the loss of life. There are countless people like Lor Scoota, robbed and deprived of their potential and their opportunity to contribute to our society. Remember to cherish the ones you hold dear and try to encourage and inspire the people around you. We are all just humans trying to live and thrive on this planet we call Earth.
Here is Lor Scoota’s most popular song. Also check out his music on Soundcloud.
