Featured Pipe Store-Wunderland Pipes & Gifts

I want to start off by saying hands down, Wunderland is the best smoke accessory shop in all the Seattle area. They only buy from local glass artists and absolutely do not sell any tobacco products. I don’t think there is any other shop quite like Wunderland. I have never had anything but awesome customer service and always leave happy knowing I made quality investments.

The selection of what they offer is very large and is all locally made. Wunderland was formerly called Odyssey of Burien, but is still the same owners and staff since becoming Wunderland. Odyssey was a staple in Burien since the 1970’s.

The only thing I can really say is you must stop in and find what treasures await. I will be following up with the owners of Wunderland for an in depth interview and possibly a discount code.

Happy 420 Stoners!

The day of April 20th has been known as a Stoners Holiday for quite some time. I can remember being in middle and High school and skipping classes to go smoke weed at the park with friends. Now that I’m an adult, the celebrations have only intensified and become more of a festivle of weed smoking than anything else. As the culture of marijuana and cannabis continue to evolve, the tolerance to stoners has become greater and more people are becoming accepting of the Weed smokers way of life.

I can remember when the only kind of hash you could buy was press hash and it wasn’t always good and it was always expensive. Now days, I can walk into a recreational store and purchase several different kinds of hash from several unique strains of really good weed.

So today I plan on venturing out into the Recreational shops to see what kinds of deals are available as well as I plan on reviewing as many different strains as possible today! I will be posting a link to my YouTube account so you can feel as if you’re in the clouds with me reviewing all the tasty treats!

Strain Review- Dutch Treat

So this week I managed to pick up a little bit of some really good Dutch Treat from The Evergreen Market. I must say I was very pleased with this purchase. The High was awesome, and the CBD content was more than efficient to manage my pain. I will say that this week has been a hard week as far as pain goes.

After talking with some other fans of the Dutch Treat, we decided to give this strain a 4.5 out of 5 review. This review is one of the highest reviews I have given to date. The only way I feel the crop could have been better is if it was denser buds. I found the flavor to be amazing, and the euphoric high was incredible. I was super relaxed and found myself wanting to take an eye nap.

Strain Review- Super Silver Haze by Cannabis Club.

I’m going to start by saying WOW! This strain is absolutely amazing. I was incredibly impressed with how high I was, as well as how I could manage the throbbing pain in  my back. I found it to have a sweet, citrus taste and was very dense. The lineage comes from crossing Skunk #1, Haze, and Northern Lights. Super Silver Haze is considered a sativa, but I think its more Hybrid than Sativa. I give a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I would definitely recommend it for Cancer patients for its nausea relieving effects as well as pain relief.

      WTF is a DAB?

The very first time I even heard the term Dab, I was confused and curious at the same time. I was in the dispensary called The Oasis in the Top Hat neighborhood of South Seattle. I had just gotten my medical marijuana authorization and was excited to try some new strains out. When I walked in, the entire place smelled absolutely delicious. After carefully checking out all the shelves, I came to a display case with the word Concentrates in huge lettering. I asked the staff, who referred to himself as a “Budtender” whats up with the concentrates? He was happy to answer my questions and to this day is still one of the most knowledgeable Budtenders I have come across.

After I asked what I’m sure was several dumb questions, the Budtender then asked if I wanted to try a sample! I gladly accepted the offer and followed him into the Dab Bar section of the store. Now at the time, I don’t think there were any laws preventing the sampling on site, but I was new and trusted my Budtender to not do me wrong. I also figured why would he risk his job over a sample? So he proceeds to use a butane torch to heat a metal nail on a special water bong for smoking wax, called a dab rig.

Now I’m intimidated! I’ve never had a dab hit before, and I’m just about to back out, when he noticed and offered to take a hit to show me how its done. Before I can say sure, he’s already done taking his toke. No biggie right! He reloads his dab tool with another smaller piece than the one he just took and says “Are you up or not?” I agree and proceed to take my very first dab!

I will say the only thing I don’t like about taking a dab is it is very strong on the burning of the throat and lungs. Besides that, it’s such a wonderful high. For me it’s like smoking several bowls of either the Truth or the 3 Kings strains. I also enjoy smoking joints and blunts, and a dab hit of a good wax hash is better than smoking several joints and blunts.

      Strain Review- 3 Kings

So the strain 3 Kings I really like! I keep some on hand at all times. I never get tired of smoking it. I have been collecting data and reviewing information on this strain, and honestly, I’m confused. Here is a breakdown of 3 Kings from

The 3 Kings marijuana strain, a holy trinity of Headband, Sour Diesel, and OG Kush, is a sativa-dominant hybrid and genetic masterpiece. Sour tanginess reek from the sage green buds, and its frosty coat gives you a fair warning of the 3 Kings’ potency. Medical patients will appreciate the versatility of this strain’s medicinal effects as it relieves pain, stress, and nausea without heavy sedation.

Now next is the breakdown from

Genetics: trainwreck x diesel x Kush doesn’t even have any lab testing submitted. It’s basically been a huge guessing game except for from one source.

So what is a guy to believe? I believe the scientific testing done at Heres the test results for the 3 Kings available at

      Saturday Strain Review! 3/19/2016

I visited a recreational shop near me called Evergreen Market. The staff was very friendly, but lacked the general knowledge I have come to expect from people working in the marijuana industry. Personally I feel the lack of detailed knowledge is a direct result of the rules put in place by the state. If I can’t smell the weed, how do I know I will like it?

So todays strain in review is Mk Ultra. Mk Ultra is a indica dominant hybrid. The grow operation responsible for this strain is Zion Botanicals! I liked the Mk Ultra because it had a good flavor, burned evenly and wasn’t harsh to smoke. The smell pre-burn was average only due to packaging laws and practices. The CBD content was decent and had a good effect of pain relief.

I spoke with a few other consumers as well as a few connoisseurs, and we all agreed to give the Mk Ultra a review of 6 out of 10. As fore cost, $55 for and eighth. I personally didn’t think the quality was worth the cost and hopefully the prices will drop again. Until then, Keep On Smoking, Keep your stash away from minors and enjoy your green responsibly! zion1

      Indica VS Sativa VS Hybrid

Today we will be discussing the major differences between the types of Marijuana. Now for the experienced smoker, the difference is similar to what do you feel like eating that day? What you smoke also depends on your reason for smoking. If your just smoking to get high, then a sativa is probably your choice of smoke. Most medical marijuana users enjoy the head high, but use for pain or anxiety relief. I’ve found that a indica dominant hybrid is best for my needs for pain relief. Hybrids are great for treating multiple symptoms. sativa differences

I’ve found several strains locally that are hybrids, and are just as effective at relieving my pain as the narcotics the Dr. wants to prescribe. I prefer a indica dominant hybrid that has a good balance of THC and CBD, but that’s just me! The local growers I have met are well versed and extremely knowledgeable in the ins and outs of growing quality smoke. All growers should keep to the standard of chemical free growing, but it’s not always the case.

Recently here in Washington, the state caught most of its testing facility’s pushing false paperwork. The numbers that were quoted were pulled straight out of thin air, and pesticides were used that are not allowed. Yes that’s right, poison was used to grow weed. Then the state allowed the product to hit the shelves and be sold to the public. So basically they knowingly allowed poison to be sold just for pure profit!!! So my question now is, Who made it the state’s decision if I want poisoned weed? The exception to this is the medical marijuana world… Medical growers know that the quality is the key to the marijuana having the intended effect. Also, most medical growers wont use any chemicals that they wouldn’t want to be ingesting themselves.

      Medical Marijuana VS Recreational Marijuana!

“What’s the difference?” I’ve had a lot of people ask and I’m pretty sure the biggest difference is not the price! If I knew for sure that the quality of the weed was absolutely amazing, I wouldn’t really mind spending a few extra bucks on some quality recreational herb. My issue is you basically play marijuana roulette with every purchase. There’s no opening and smelling the product! Even if you could open and smell the goods, the way the state law is written makes the grower package the weed in a way that it all smells the same.

Now we can discuss the cost! The tax alone kills you on a recreational purchase! Now I understand the aspect of it’s not a necessary thing for everyone, just like tobacco isn’t used by everyone. But 25% tax on all sales! Your killing me smalls! I won’t name any shops, but a shop very near my home has some quality bud! I just personally can’t afford to pay $40.00 for two grams of weed! Two Lousy Grams!!! When I go to my not to far away medical dispensary (10 miles away) I get a quarter ounce for the same $40.00! Not to mention there’s a much higher quality to the weed! I can smell the weed, examine the buds under a jewelers loop, sometimes even get free samples and already rolled joints! Plus I know that my money is going to a local Medical Marijuana Patient who grew a bit too much for himself!

In December of 2015, the state of Washington decided it wanted more tax revenue from marijuana sales in Washington. So the state forced a large portion of dispensaries to apply for a recreational license, or face raids and criminal charges! The real crime here is forcing Medical Patients to spend what limited resources we have on low quality and low quantity weed! The state is also further perpetuating the pharmaceutical stranglehold of the American people! “How so you ask?” Look at the list of side effects for an average medication and compare them to the side effects of smoking weed or eating an edible infused with THC and CBC!
